The Connors Writing Center offers one-on-one 写作 conferences to current UNH students (undergraduate and graduate). We work with writers from all disciplines on many different kinds of 写作. Our half-hour or hour-long conferences are conducted by trained 写作 assistants who are UNH undergraduate and graduate students.
Collaboration is the core of the Connors Writing Center approach. 在一起, writer and 写作 assistant work to brainstorm and find a path through the revision process. We're here to support, assist, help, guide, and learn from writers.
除了…之外 in-person conferences, the Connors Writing Center will be offering virtual appointments online, available to any UNH student who is not part of the COVID testing program or for commuters who can't make it to campus. These online sessions are synchronous (real-time) appointments designed to help students have one-on-one conversations about their 写作 at any stage of the process. Schedule an appointment any time during the semester. While the CWC is not an editing service, we do keep a list of copy editors for hire who are willing to negotiate an hourly rate for this type of assistance. Accountability Sessions
The UNH Connors Writing Center hosts hybrid weekly accountability sessions for any student writer interested in goal setting. On 星期三 from 6-7 p.m., students can join either in person at the CWC or join a 变焦会话 to check in with their weekly goals and see how other students are working through their 写作 process. 社区 Writing Table
The Connors Writing Center welcomes anyone who seeks a space to write in a community of support from 6-8 p.m. 星期三. Feel free to come sit at our Big Table, built by Bob Connors and his graduate students back in 1994 and intended to be a space for community 写作. Whether you just want to write in a supportive space, chat with others about their 写作 processes and strategies, or drop-in with some 写作 questions, 欢迎所有人!
